In which areas do we operate and what types of project documentation do we process? Learn about the individual stages – DSP, DPS, and DSPS, their purpose, and content.
DSP:
Documentation for Building Permit (DSP):
This stage represents the project documentation required to obtain a building permit. It defines the key parameters and principles of the future construction – location, capacity, technology, safety, environmental impact, and compliance with legislation. DSP does not contain detailed installation drawings but presents the overall technical and architectural design.
Typical parts of DSP:
Technical report
Site layout drawing (location plan)
Single-line connection diagram
Description of connection to the distribution network
Fire safety solution (PBŘ)
Statements from relevant authorities and coordination with public offices
DPS:
Construction Documentation (DPS):
This stage is intended for the implementation and installation of the construction. It is developed based on the approved DSP documentation and includes detailed drawings, diagrams, and calculations used by contractors, installation companies, and technical supervisors. DPS precisely defines the types of cables, protections, equipment, structures, and installation methods — down to the labeling of individual circuits.
Grounding, surge protection, and lightning protection details
Layout drawings of panels, structures, and cable routes
List of components, bills of materials, and circuit labeling
Fire safety report and calculations
Coordination of disciplines (electrical, structural, and civil parts)
DSPS:
As-Built Documentation (DSPS):
This stage is prepared after the completion of construction and records the actual state of execution, including all modifications made during the implementation. DSPS is essential for the handover of the project to the investor, for inspections, and for subsequent maintenance. It reflects the real condition of the installation and serves as the official technical archive of the facility.
Typical parts of DSPS:
Updated drawings according to the actual execution
Inspection and measurement reports
List of materials and components used
Photo documentation of the installation
Records of changes made during construction
Declaration of conformity with the project and legislation
Operation and maintenance documentation (manuals, certificates)
